Welcome!

Welcome to Everything Mobile @ U of T

The use of mobile technologies is expanding at an exponential rate among members of the University of Toronto community, so we’ve set out to create a “clearinghouse” for bringing people, ideas and resources together.

Over time, we’ll be populating this site with information that highlights U of T research and teaching about mobile technologies, with helpful resources for the UofT developer community (both student developers and professional staff developers), and with links to all the mobile projects we can find at U of T.

We’ll also be augmenting the site with two communities of practice discussion groups – one focused on teaching and research, and the other on professional development practices.

Finally, this site will be the virtual front door to a series of mobile development and innovation labs on all three campuses, that will be open to students, faculty and professional staff. See our strategic plan posted to this site for more details.

So, if you are a developer, a researcher, if you’ve got a project or innovation, or if you are teaching a course about mobile technologies here at U of T, please let us know, and we’ll try to get you connected into the community conversation and collaboration. Because everything mobile at UofT, is really about everything you at UofT!
