Digifest Student Showcase – Call for Submissions
Toronto’s Digifest conference is looking for submissions to their 2017 student showcase. From Digifest:
We’re searching for Student Showcase submissions for Digifest 2017. The fifth annual Student Showcase will be held at Digifest from April 27th to 29th, 2017, at Corus Quay on Toronto’s waterfront. This year’s showcase will focus on “Research & Business”, presenting the most innovative interdisciplinary partnerships between students and industry across North America.
Participants from post-secondary institutions and their industry partners will discuss their collaborations—and the impact they’ve generated—with Digifest attendees. We invite submissions from the following areas:
- Design research and user experience (UX)
- Learning methodologies and new learning tools
- Innovation labs/incubators/research offices and development collaborations
The student showcase is a unique opportunity for schools to display and present their research capabilities to hundreds of Digifest attendees, the general public, and potential industry partners.
Please submit applications online at http://torontodigifest.ca/2017/student-showcase/ by February 10, 2017. Selected projects will receive four passes to attend Digifest 2017, as well as exhibitor space at the conference. Selected projects will also be allotted a 15-minute time slot to give short in-booth presentations about their project throughout the conference.
